August 10 APEX Short Hiking Trip Saturday, For some strange reason, this is a really popular event. We have been to the same hike in Malibu Beach every year. First year, I had about 25 people show up. Second year, I had about 40 people show up and third year, I had about 70 people show up. Some came all the way from San Diego and Santa Barbara. Please let me know if you want to go to Griffith Park by Crystal Spring (all mountain with the view of Glendale and Burbank) or Malibu Beach (Great ocean view with light sand beach near Pepperdine University) by the first week of July. I went to see "Y tu Mama Tambien." This Mexican movie, from the same director who brought us the lukewarm recent version of "Great Expectations," is very well done, but definitely not for all audiences.
