Hi Doug-
Thanks for sending the latest and greatest APPA Newsletters. I noticed you are always sharing info on Asian contributions (or achievements). I have one to share with you but I am not sure if you have read or learned about Justin Lin, a young film maker. See www.betterlucktomorrow.com.
"We are proud to announce that BETTER LUCK TOMORROW has been accepted to the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival. Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious international film festivals, and Better Luck Tomorrow is featured in the Contemporary World Cinema section."
...With all the attention he is receiving all over the U.S. and Canada, he is really a down to earth guy. His family is nice people too. His brother tells me the film will be released Feb. 2003.
