San Francisco Taiko Dojo 35th Anniversary

Kinnara Taiko 34th Anniversary

San Jose Taiko 30th Anniversary

Their combined performance history includes numerous film credits and recordings, and each group has played a vital role in influencing and mentoring many of the now nearly 150 taiko groups practicing in North America today. ---------------------------------------

Last Weekend

I was busy again. With the RAPPA team I participated in the HeartWalk in El Segundo on Saturday. Thanks to all who made donations. In the afternoon I went to a book signing at the JANM by Dr. Tetsuden Kashima for his book ŅJudgment Without Trial: Japanese American Imprisonment During World War IIÓ. The book looks like it might give me some insight of the case of my grandfather who was arrested by the FBI in 1942 and held without trial till the end of the World War II, and died shortly after his release. Sunday I made a quick visit to the Harvest Moon Festival in Arcadia.
